Are the tours safe for kids and beginners?
Yes. Most tours are gentle, slow-paced, and designed to be family-friendly. Larry focuses on safe distances, clear instructions, and calm, respectful interactions with wildlife. Children are welcome with a supervising adult, and you never have to touch an animal if you don’t want to.
Do we actually see reptiles and wildlife?
While wildlife can’t be guaranteed, Larry builds each tour around habitats where animals are most active for that time of day and season. On a typical tour, guests see multiple species of lizards, birds, and often snakes, fish, and other coastal or wetland wildlife.
What should we bring and wear?
Plan for the outdoors: closed-toe shoes, lightweight long sleeves or sunscreen, a hat, water, and a camera or phone. For snorkeling tours, Larry will provide details about swimwear and any gear options when you book.
How long are the tours?
Most tours run 2–3 hours, depending on the experience and group pace. Custom timing for schools or private groups is available—just mention it when you request your tour.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If weather conditions make the tour unsafe or unpleasant, Larry will work with you to reschedule or adjust the experience. You’ll get clear communication ahead of time if the forecast looks questionable.
